Any reviews of the PS2's DVD prowess?

Has anyone come across a review of the Playstation 2's DVD capability? I'm trying to figure out if I should buy another DVD player, which seems stupid considering the PS2 plays DVD's. If it really, really sucks, however, maybe I'll think about it... Please post links, thanx, fokes.
