I've come to the conclusion the net doesn't have enough porn.

Ya, that's right. There is not enough porn on the ol' net. it's not that there isn't enough porn on the net, it's more like i'm upset that porn doesn't come to me. i actually have to go out and find it. don't the internet gnomes know i want porn? they should be syphoning porn through my internet connection 24/7

__________________
you mean that your internet gnomes DON'T siphon porn through your connection 24 hours a day?! Hell, we should switch connections, because it seems that almost every page I go to, I somehow end up on a pornographic site. "Here, I'll just do a search for 'transformers poster' and...WHAT THE HELL DOES SHE TRANSFORM INTO?"

i actually have a friend that was curious about how much porn was out there, so he set up 6 computers (all P2s) and started them all monitoring the internet, and keeping a record of every porn web page on the entire internet. These computers apparently find thousands upon thousands of pornsites every hour...but from what he was telling me a few weeks ago, the computers are barely closing the gap with the total number of porn sites out there because so many new ones are added so often. Maybe i should just have him route all of his findings straight to you, Rev.

Toshiba Class Action Lawsuit . . . HELP PLEASE!

I need HELPPPP!

I just found out about the class action settlement with Toshiba over internal floppy drives in their laptops!

Anywho - I was eligible for it, but never knew about it . . . I was never contacted - so I missed out on like $650 worth of settlement! (I needed to send in a claim form by June 12, 2000)

I've contacted counsel to see if I can get in on a late claim - but I seriously doubt that just not knowing about it will be enough to get me paid!

WHAT SHOULD I SAY? Can anyone help please?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I think that you are too late.

I only got a $100 GC from Toshiba to use from a Toshiba catalog. I think that there were so many people who tried to get something back, it got all messed up. I tried calling a few numbers, but nothing.

Anyhow, I am no help, but good luck.

How did you find out about the lawsuit? Were you contacted directly? Or did you just hear about it through some sort of public disclosure ie. newspaper?

Some law firm mailed me the proper forms. I did not even ask for it. I did register my laptop, which might be how they got my name.

Butch, I got those forms too. I thought I told you about that...

POOP on them! My laptop has been registered ever since I got it! I never heard ONE word about it! Hmmmm . . . well hopefully this will get worked out! I'm not exactly optimistic about it though!

I hate to admit it, but ICQ is evil

What was aol thinking when they took over icq? it's probably onlong the lines of, "lets make the best internet communicator crap buy putting a whole bunch of faulty new features in that no one will use." instead of fixing the bugs in their programming, they called them features and moved on to 2000b. I'm betting they will probably never release a new version of activelist server. those whores. Fix your damn software!

sorry, just a little rant.

AOL sucks ass. First they bought Netscape and ****ed it over then they bought ICQ, luckly I haven't had any problems with ICQ. I'm just happy they didn't dump it and winamp like they did with netscape

i will have to concur that AOL sucks ass, but i do still use their AIM service. I wouldn't pay them anything for it though...

ICQ is like a piece of tasty bread dropped into a bowl of water. Sure, it was fresh and delicious at first, but after being dropped into the water, it has become very bloated and near-repulsive. You sit and watch the soggy bread floating in the water, poking it with your finger, wondering if anyone would ever eat it in this condition.

I cant stand aim, I have never had any problems with icq and i've been using it for years (i still have records of conversations from years ago) and it has so many great features that aim doesn't have. About 75% of the people that i've seen that are aim fans are teenage girls that just use it to talk and find icq "too confusing".

Another Reason Why Dubya is Dumb...

On Friday, October 20, from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. Eastern time,
Judicial Watch will host a nationally televised presidential
debate featuring six of the seven qualified presidential
candidates. John Hagelin, Al Gore, Ralph Nader, Pat Buchanan,
Harry Browne, and Howard Phillips have all accepted--only
George W. Bush has declined.

C-SPAN has committed to televising the debate, and Fox TV and
American Voice Radio are considering coverage. The debate
will be moderated by a highly respected journalist, and the
panel will be composed of other journalists from well-known
national newspapers--both liberal and conservative.

Seven lecterns will be set up on stage--no matter who attends
the debate. Each candidate will give an opening and closing
statement and will be asked questions by the panel in rotating
order.

The questions, while not set in advance, will reflect Judicial
Watch concerns about ethics in politics--bribery laws, corporate
control of government, independent counsel issues, etc.

About 600 people have been invited to the debate and to a
reception immediately following, including over 30 Ambassadors
and their seconds-in-command, as well as the entire Washington
press corps.

I urge everyone to watch this debate, which certainly promises
to be the most interesting and representative presidential
debate of the season. As always, please check your local listings
for up-to-the-minute scheduling; TV and radio news stations
reserve the right to make last-minute changes.
