Bruins, rally here

well, i just wanted to get some way that we could figure out who here was a bruin (i can't usually remember). Maybe some of you are even in my classes this quarter; who knows? I'll list 'em off for you: Math 32a, Physics 1B, and Econ 1a. If anyone has those classes, go ahead and post away. Or if you ever stop by the UCLA computer store in Ackerman, and have seen a fairly tall guy with blonde spiked hair (probably looking pretty tired too), you can post that too or say hello. Hey, even if you don't fit either category, you can still post. Anyone else going to be living in De Neve with me next year? ProMinx __________________ Bruin Alumni here. Class of '97 with a Bio major. I hated the school until 4rth year when I moved out of the dorms and commuted from home (Cerritos) to UCLA. Then I was miserable - J/K. I had fun senior year cuz I had good classes and I started MUDing. I lived in Courtside House C-8, room 108 for 3 years. That room rocked. Get it if you can. Everybody walked by it and it was the ultimate party room, plus our bathroom was big enough to put a bed in! And it was a 2 person not 3! I think the dorms were the only thing I liked about UCLA during the first 3 years, well, maybe the NCAA basketball championship! Life as a Biology/Pre Med major as you probably know is just sad. Look at all those pathetic "South Campus" nerds at the Bombshelter! ------------------ Ço£o§§ü§ - yeah you can read into it... __________________ hey, back off of south campus! i'm still taking classes there, and most of my friends seem to almost live there. Oh well...i somehow figured that there would be a few MORE bruins here. I know that you're out there, so go ahead and tack on a message (NOW!)... Pro __________________ North Campus representing!! I'm a philosophy/Poli Sci major. BTW, Muds are EVIL!! Have you played Major Mud?? I think about 4 or 5 years of my life are now missing forever thanks to that damned game!! __________________ Yeah, I lost a lot of friends to MUD in the first and second year. I saw how addicted they became (almost like Got Apex) and I decided to stay away. A friend of mine introduced me to Dark Castle senior year and it rocked. Also too down my MCAT score a little hehe. ProMinx, you ain't as much South Campus as I was hehe. You're engineering so you're Bolter and MS. I'm all the way in freakin' LS, and sometimes in the UCLA hospital for a couple of my classes hehe. As nerdy as we South Campus people were, we didn't wear full length black leather jumpsuits while rollerblading through the art sculptures near Dickson haha! ------------------ Ço£o§§ü§ - yeah you can read into it... __________________ Heheh... south campus right here. Sproul 5s this year, sproul 3n next year I think i might be in ur physics 1b class ProMinx (11AM). Got Math 33A and English 3. Work at the Academic Technology Sevices on campus. Stop by if you even know what it is or where it's at... __________________ i'm in the 1 am physics class actually...oh well. i guess i don't have any classes with any other apex people. PM __________________ Hey Prominx... you might have seen my little sister around... she's a sophomore physio major and she told me that she has a bead shop (?) on campus. She's this bubbly (and slightly chubby) Asian kid. I think she lives in Sproul in case you decide to stalk her. Anyway, if you happen to see her, say hello for me. __________________ Hey Westwoody types, have you guys seen the new mural on Wilshire? The artist guy took down the "censored" picture of the Statue of Liberty and put up a pretty nice one. It's at http://www.libertymural.com Dude I hate the rich fascists that run our town, remember the whole "you cant dance in Westwood bullsh*t?" __________________ I think i saw that on 20/20 a week ago. Thats so ****ing stupid too. In a town full of billboards for tabbaco and other trash they wont even allow a nice rendering of the Statue of Liberty __________________ Its whacked that someone wouldn't want this nice mural of the Statue of Liberty. In a certain part of Bethesda, Maryland snobs didn't want a McDonalds there since it would bring down the neighborhood. There are other examples of this sort of behaviour occuring around this area. I heard from someone that the connection in the dorms are totally sucking ass now, something about UCLA limiting the speed of your guys' connections? Does anyone know anything about this? Just wonderin, im in the apartments now so I'm totally ig'nant of whats going on in the dorms anymore. __________________ starvingcollegestudent: yes i am!!!.....also go lakers! __________________ Yea, only time we get good ping are late at night when everyone else logs off... WEB HOGS!! It's not as good as the beginning of the year, but it's still alot faster than anything else.
