Pretty sweet movie how the computer and traditional animation is blended together. Also, the rocking soundtrack and pounding sound effects make for a very nice piece of work. __________________ I heard that from inception to finish, it was fully digitized, not one cell was drawn or used..------------------ Victor http://psychokid.com http://rurouni.org __________________ hehe... did you notice that there were quite a lot of "framerate drop" problems? __________________ Whaaa?? heh.. No, I didn't actually. That's wierd.------------------ §=-Sp34dFr34k-=§ __________________ Maybe I'm just too paranoid about frame rates from playing video games too much - every time the enemy boss shows up - there was this one scene when they were flying close to the water, making lots of graphic effects. __________________ Oh by the way, I thought the movie is decent This movie reminded me of Transformers the movie for no particular reason... __________________ There were framerate drops over the water, but not too badly....some of the more noticable framerate drops were around w/ the characters...very odd...cool movie nonetheless..I downloaded the soundtrack because of a few cool songs. This movie is one of those movies where you come out actually feeling good...it's like "Wow, this was a good movie...I like it", probably because this is one of the very few recent Sci-Fi movies where there was a decent plot (let alone a plot, which it seems alot of movies are lacking), a cool soundtrack..and characters you actually like. It's also nice to see characters with emotion in a "PG" movie. If they made it PG-13 or higher, it might've been cooler, but this is definitely worth a DVD purchase. ------------------ Victor http://psychokid.com http://rurouni.org [This message has been edited by psycho- (edited 06-25-2000).] __________________ Hmmm I wasn't going to see it but now after reading this post i will... ------------------ Check out www.MadCool.com Mavi forum |
