Publicity for buy.com (comments please)

OK, I know we are always trying to attract bad publicity to people who do bad things to us (and this is totally awesome and the right thing to do). However, I think we should try to get buy.com some good publicity. Of course, we need to wait 2 or 3 more days to make sure they really are sending out all these $50 off $50 orders and then once we are sure of that we should start contacting people. What I am asking is who do you think we should contact and, if you have any suggestions, do you have the contact info? Also, it might be a good idea for someone (I would be willing to do this) write a generic letter that everyone can send to the same people so they get the scope of what buy.com has done. By the way, did you see the financial news story the other day (I think on CNN) about all the e-tailers that are going belly up. Buy.com was mentioned as a likely candidate for bankruptcy within the next year or so. I guess that's what happens when you honor $50 off $50. bummer! __________________ I completely disagree....They would be stupid to let these go through, you are taking advantage of a bug in their system. They are a great retailer, with the best prices anywhere online. Even if they dont let you rip them off, they are among the best online if not THE best.... __________________ I second that AJ.
