Gore on Letterman, Lieberman on Jon Stewart

Looks like it was Democrat night on the night shows. I have to say, while I knew Lieberman had something behind his face, Gore really came out a winner last night. I mean, I'm not going to say he should start doing stand-up, but for a guy that is universally known as the biggest dork going, he was reasonably charismatic.
Jon Stewart, might I add, is the funnies mofo on the air. While his Lieberman thing turned into one big Jew joke, it was still funny as hell. His piece on Bush's "subliminabal" ad was absolutely priceless. Worth getting cable just for comedy central, in my mind. And I'd only get comedy central for his show...and maybe Battlebots...god, how I want to be in that show.

With the amount of pseudo-technical knowledge on this board, and Apex bankrolling us, we could build a pretty bad-ass machine. Team Apex could concoct a mean bot with one of the following diharrea-inducing names:
  • The Rhinopoint
  • The Vadimrtron/E-Vladikator/Comsumer Trashvocate
  • Hot Babes VIII (or whatever number we're on)
  • Leon
  • The Endless Political Debate
  • DFrauder
Who knows how to weld?

i watch comedy central pretty much all day. Theres no better lineup than tons of SNL, Daily Show, battlebots, kids in the hall, and who's line is it anyway. And Jon Stewart has been HIALRIOUS the past few weeks dealing with the Bush screw ups (that "*******" comment, and when he said "subliminable messages"). Daily Show is the best show on cable, IMO.

Did anybody see Lieberman on Conan? Sheesh, he sung My Way from Frank Sinatra. Thought that was classic

Get this, Gore goes on LETTERMAN, but Lieberman goes on 2nd rate talk shows(but are funny as hell) with John Steward and Conan.

That is like comparing the majors to the minors. Lieberman needs a better PR manager...

You do realize Lieberman is Gore's running mate...

Mahalo - I'd hardly call Conan and The Daily Show second rate. They are the best talk shows out there! Would rather watch those any day of the week than watch Leno or Letterman. Of course, Letterman gets more viewers (and older viewers) - so Gore goes on there . . . but who watches Conan and TDS?? Young people . . . important group to appeal to.

right, because there are all those young people that are registered to vote, and follow through by voting too, right?
Jeez, Butch, your long-term unemployment has softened your brain.

I don't think the 18-35 is very active at all...not when you compare it to the 45+ crowd...now THAT'S voter turnout!
