got | apex? - chatroom

Apex - When are we going to get off of that "temporary temporary chatroom" and get a real chat room. I think having it on an IRC server wouldn't be a bad idea. You can connect to an IRC server through a java applet (see mircx.com, chat.ign.com)(use their FREE backpack software), so even people who don't have an irc program could access the chat. And it wouldn't automatically log you out for no reason like the one we have now does. That way, we can actually have some people idling in the chat room, and it will seem a lot more friendly to visitors and other users if at least you are in the chat room at all times. Just my humble opinion. Let me know if this works. ------------------ __________________ yeah, i like the idea of an irc chatroom. Dalnet always has a lot of people on, and that would be a good server to host on. Apex, if you decide you want to hav the chatroom be #gotapex on dalnet, i already registered it, so if you want to own it, drop me an email about when you will be online, and i'll drop it so you can register it. __________________ hmm... don't got irc... how bout icq?? anyone have any info if we can keep one on icq for long periods of time??
