How severe is you DVD Addiction?

I've just jumped on to the bandwagon about 4 months ago when I bought my self a lowend DVD player. And so far have a decent collection of about 30 movies. Not bad for my monthly income. But after visiting DVD forums I've read about people talking about how they've done the Columbia House deal 30-40 times. Now that's an addiction! It just got me thinking a little. My guess is that it is the semi-permanent nature of the video disc that is causing this addiction in people in a way that VHS never was able to do. And it's much cheaper and less unwieldy than Laser discs. Doesn't look like this "wave" is gonna die out anytime soon.
