ok everyone, what is your favorite beer? let's here those lagers, pilsners, ales and stouts flow!! personally, i love samuel adams. amstel light and harp are a close second. __________________ Root Beer __________________ MGD or Sapora (sp?)__________________ I like the ales... but Guiness is good too... Santa Barbara Brewery has really good Ale....Right now ... drinking Woodchuck Draft Cider Granny Smith .... __________________ OB lager... it's korean and damn good...__________________ San Miguel and Kirin.__________________ Guinness on Tap!!!The best! __________________ New Castle here.__________________ Any beer that gets me drunk. I'll drink to that! __________________ Sapporo sometimes. It seems to taste different in different containers.__________________ =P Beers' kinda nastygo for mixed __________________ It's an acquired taste. Some just choose to acquire it sooner than later.__________________ How many of you have actually had a guinness and not enjoyed it? the answer is ZERO. Anyone who tries it, loves it. There is nothing that even comes close.__________________ Sam Adams rules!!!Of course, there are some great local brews all across the country too. Cleveland has some good ones (Dortmunder and Great Lakes) fu fu drinks are for sissys! j/k :-) __________________ Sierra Nevada Pale ale and Kirin Ichiban. 2 of the best.__________________ See you all are like bourgeois (or as my ghetto roommate calles them, "Boo-gee") beer drinkers! None of this microbrew nonsense man! I drink Bud Ice. And when I wanna get messed up, I find a 40oz of ANYTHING and pound it.__________________ I cannot deny it. I also love 40 ounces of freedom. The best, of course is Steel Reserve. With a SRP of $1.79, and a 8.1% alcohol content, it is one of the cheapest, and potent ones around__________________ Sheaf Stout when I can find it.__________________ Guinness is the best beer out there, followed closely by Beast Ice then Natty Ice.__________________ Guinness and harpblack and tan __________________ quote: ok, either your entire statement was sarcastic, or you are insane. which is it?? how dare you mention guinness and beast and natty in the same sentence!! __________________ has anyone ever heard of mackesson beer? it is infused with a slight chocolate malt flavor. very tasty indeed!!__________________ I was being sarcastic, I swear..... Just remembering those freshman days of college where Natty and Beast were the beers of choice.__________________ ok, i forgive you then! cheers!!__________________ root beer for me too ------------------ The newbie was here. __________________ Newcastle is the one. It's like someone squeezed the water from a heavenly cloud and bottled it. The one and only. It's dark brown, but you would never know it from the taste. As easy to drink as anything, aside from Amstel Light (which goes down faster and easier that Ms. Lewinski).Try it and you will agree. Shell out the $2.50 for one of the large bottles at Ralph's or Albertsons... it is worth every penny. You will soon be ordering it at the pub in pitchers for your friends. Dave. __________________ First of all, OB is ass-nasty...Regular beers: Coors original longnecks...tommee likee 40: CAMO "Boo-gee": Sierra Nevada Bar none: PABST BLUE RIBBON By the way, if you people think you are drinking Guiness, you are sorely mistaken. The import stuff is almost unlinkable to the real stuff, or even stuff across the border in Canada. And I don't like either. __________________ Asahi (japanese beer), Fosters, and Karl Strauss__________________ One dollar beers, on Sundays.Dave. __________________ Yes, Karl Strauss is a fine brew. Can you get it anywhere outside of Southern Cali? I really don't know. I know that Price Club carries cases of bottles for a good price, usually.I really don't even know if you can get it here in LA. I haven't tried. I'm goin' down to the Padres game Saturday evening, so maybe I'll stop by and have a pint. That sounds good. Dave. Mavi forum |
