gte dsl

is it any good???? __________________ my contract ends this sept and i'm planning on getting cable. the bronze plus is a good deal if you don't mind having some occasional problems. for the last few months, i've had on and off problems with my service and sometimes it may be down for a few minutes to a couple of days. the speed isn't too great either. sometimes i would get fast speed and other times, i feel like i'm on a 56k. bronze plus package is supposedly shared but i was told not many people in my area has dsl so i can't figure out why sometimes it would slow to a crawl. aside from their so-so service, their customer rep are very helpful and committed to rectifying any problems. if you can find a good cable modem provider in your location where there aren't that many current subscriber, i say go for it. otherwise, as stated before, gte dsl is so-so. __________________ thanks! ...
