Need help with stupid dumb Windows...

Can anyone give me a step by step walkthrough in order to accomplish the following: ----------------------------------------- To resolve this issue, verify that the following registry key and its associated values exist. Those look kinda like registry roots to me. __________________ go to regedit, then go to the hkey classes then make clsid and input the roots __________________ do a SCANREG /RESTORE in the DOS screen __________________ Only problem is that I think this problem is older than five reboots. Someone said something about going and creating the key in regedit. I tried doing that, but I wasn't sure if I did it right...check that, I KNOW I didn't do it right because the stupid WMA still won't play properly.
