A Riddle

I got this in an e-mail. It took me two hours to figure it out. What is greater than God, More evil than the Devil, The poor have it, The rich need it, And if you eat it, you will die? What is it? BTW ... When asked this question, 80% of kindergarten students got the answer right, compared to 17% of Stanford University students. __________________ nothing... __________________ ahhh damn. well you beat me to it. __________________ Well, I am pretty quick at Kindergarten level stuff. I pretty much think and act like a 6 year old, so there was no hope for anybody else on this one. __________________ hehehe The reason a kindergartener would be good at a question like this is because until kids reach their teens they do not have the ability to reason complex ideas (something is either right or wrong, no exceptions) and there for regurgitate what they are taught. And since most kids are taught that there is nothing greater than god and nothing more evil than the devil, they dont need to think about it, where as an adult tries to find some hidden meaning or idea and gets lost in the riddle.
