Anyone know anything about the Epson Perfection 1640SU scanner?

I was shopping around for the 1200U which has been recommended forever, and I saw the 1640SU. This one has a higher resolution, faster scan times, and it has both SCSI and USB interfaces (it also has the obligatory much-higher price tag). At any rate, I was trying to do a little research on it, and I can't find *anything* - web seaches either give me nother, pages in German, or press releases from Epson. Anyone heard of this/own this/have a review of this? Mavi forum
