new mascot

i dont know, it may be a cool little drawing, but it doesnt seem to capture the personality of the web site. have i been missing something not being around too much lately? maybe it's just me. since i started checking out the site, we've mainly been techies/car people and guys who like to driink and goof off--has all that been lost? __________________ Maybe things will become clear when we see what the mascot is for. As for myself, I am lost too. I thought mascots were supposed to represent what the team, organization, or in this case, a web site and its community, are all about. (Although, now that I begin thinking harder, Slider of the Cleveland Indians comes to mind, along with the Phoenix Suns gorilla. d'oh!) When I think of Got|Apex, I think of deals, hardware, and yes, babes and beer too! hehehe. This little dinosaur, to me, does nothing but succumb to the power of Pokemon over our easily-influenced population. While I am aware of the fact that this mascot contest was intended to bring more people into the Got|Apex community, it seems strange to me that newbies could be expected to know what truly represents the aura of the site. Personally, I think my little deal surfer guy was a much better fit.
