Crappy Movie Endings

I just got back from watching The Perfect Storm, and not to my surprise, it was a pretty good movie... up until the ending. Ya, I know it was based on a true story, but c'mon, that ending sucked big-time. I seriously hope, but honestly don't expect, that when it comes out on DVD, it includes alternate endings. I think that movie would be 100 times better with at least a semi-happy ending, don't you?

Speaking of good movies with crappy endings, anybody else feel the same about Ronin? I really got into that movie until the ending again... kinda sneeks up on you... and wham, its over with very little explained.

Just venting a tad...

Any other movies you guys know of with crappy endings?

I thought Eyes Wide Suck was pretty aweful. They talked soooooo slowwwwwwww. They could have shortened it to about a half hour.

Ronin was a great movie , but through the movie i waited and waited for them to find out what was in the case. But then it just ended , I was sooooooo pissed off , that small detail ruinned the whole movie for me .

Hehehe, I bet that what was in the case was the exact stuff in Pulp Fiction. hehe.

But I did love Ronin ever so much. Especially in the car chase with the M5 and Peugot 406. Also the S8 was sweeet.

yeah, the car chases made the movie

Yes. That movie was awful. I can't believe I watched the whole thing

eyes wide shut was a very artistic movie. i appreciated it very much. one thing i noticed was that in almost every scene, there was a lighted christmas tree...when the plot got to a certain point, dr bill (tom cruise) turned the lights of his christmas tree off - very representative of the events around him. yes, the movie could be perceived as being very slow, but that's kubrick for ya.

Has anybody seen Magnolia? I really liked it. But couldn't understand what the whole "raining frogs" thing at the end meant. Maybe I missed something in the story but the frog thing was pretty .... "deep?" I looked through many many movie reviews on the internet. I found some good mixed reviews. But not a single one talked about that frog scene. Any thoughts people?

Ok, I didn't like the ending of Eyes Wide Shut...I liked the 3/4's of the movie though. The movie that I thought that had the worst ending in the recent movies that are out is The Cell. Then again, it had a truncated plot it seemed like too...they could have made that movie another hour and it would have been a lot better!
