VMA awards

Ok I can't believe I actually watched that whole show last night. From the not even close to being funny opening monologue by the Waynes Bros, to the jumping midgets during Blink 182. What was MTV thinking when they put this show together. Did they they actually think people would enjoy it. It was the worst awards show I have ever seen. Christina Aguilpuka looked like a two dollar whore from Times Square. That chick looks like she belongs in junior high, not on stage singing. Britney looked good when she did her performance, but what chick wouldn't if they stripped down to almost nothing and danced around. The whole show needed to be reworked because it just did not work. If MTV hires the waynes brothers back next year to host then there is no way I will watch it.

As much as I shouldn't bad mouth my future wife, she looked like a ho last year too...what is her story?!? I didn't see her this year, but that dress with the leopard print jacket last year was straight trashy...taste, Future Wife, taste.

That's true, but you gotta admit, timing the dance with the whole TV thing takes a lotta talent.

Heh, I'm not in a mood for arguing how much I hate those pricks. I do know that the talent you talk about is of the dance instructor and the lighting coordinator. None of the talent is of the *******s known as nsync

Doesn't take much talent to listen to an entourage of choreographers and media execs.

It's funny that they speak of such things as "artistry" and "expressing themselves" when they couldn't stand on their own feet without someone holding their little hands.

And what of it? You can teach anyone to dance, it takes talent to think, write, and sing.

Actually it doesn't take any talent to sing anymore. Many new singers only sound the way they do because of all the filters that are applied to their voices. Because of this they tend to lip-sync when they're live.

That's exactly my point. 'N Sync is a PRODUCED group, they are only a group of media cash cows that exist only to feed on pubescent energy.
As for me, I prefer to listen to groups and music artists that can actually write lyrics and can produce their sound without the aid of a Sony recording studio.
