No doubt we all cruise and often search for the perfect tune to play loud enough for the aliens to hear... so what's your ONE tune that you crank? __________________ Depeche Mode- Sea of SinRage against the machine- Killing in the name of __________________ Bad to the Bone (in the car)Motley Crue - Dr Feelgood (riding the bike) I admit, I'm an '80s fan! __________________ Orbital- Nothing Left 2__________________ Paul Oakenfold's Tranceport (the whole cd)__________________ Quote:
oooo yeah, The original Blue Monday was one of my favorite songs, till orgy F*cked it up. (IMHO) __________________ too many to name__________________ mine is evenflow too chosenfool! almost any fast pearl jam song really, including yellow ledbetter, ledbetter__________________ Quote:
__________________ Creed. And DMB...and Tragically Hip for long trips.__________________ Huh, chosenfool, I believe the assignment was your ONE favorite song, but it's nice to see such breadth of, well, favorites!Everclear's Santa Monica is a great choice, even though they are a pretty wack band. Whatever, it's sort of auditory candy. I'm pretty embarassed to say it, but the Junkie XL album is pretty good for driving too. Now THAT'S a wack pair of guys, but they make the odd really cool track. Hmm, Orbital's The Box is pretty good too, esp. if it's around a 26 minute drive The ultimate, though: Use Your Illusions. Both of 'em. __________________ Quote:
WOOHOO!!! another Gn'R fan I love Gn'R although i'm not sure if they make the best driving songs. I can't wait till they release their new album. __________________ OK, I'm not a huge Kenny Loggins fan, but Danger Zone has to be the song you wanna crank up to 500 watts and just blast while doing 130+ coming down the 57 freeway haha. OK, maybe that's me, but that song always makes my car get less than 15 mpg Now if you had a leather bomber jacket and a nice bike, then you could really jam, but then again... no stereo __________________ 69 Boys - Five O Five O (puts you in the right frame of mind Creed - Higher Definitely Kenny Login's theme to Top Gun And soooooooooooo much more, I just can't remember. __________________ Quote:
speaking of five-O, where did that originate? __________________ Crystal Method. Period.__________________ Quote:
my first car only had a tape player, and the only tape i still owned / could find / liked was BOYS DON'T CRY !! i listened to it EVERYDAY on my way to and from school for 6 months! my little sister even learned all the words to all the songs. ahhhh, to this day the letters F-I-R-E-I-N-C-I-A-R-O bring back memomories __________________ she's crafty and get it together by the beastie boys(actually, pretty much any beastie boys tune) __________________ Quote:

hehe... I've got the bike, the jacket, and the song - on MD. I just plug in the earphones, slip the helmet on, crank it up (both the bike and the music) and GO... It's definitely an awesome feeling... (BTW, before anyone starts warning me about the dangers of riding w/ earphones plugged in...I don't listen to music around town because of the safty issue, but when you're crusin' at 90, the bike/wind makes so much noise, you can't hear much else anyways unless it's coming from inside the helmet.) __________________ hmm so many...bt- never gonna come back down.. gone in 60 secs soundtrack or eve6 open road song...
