If You're a DVD freak and you know it clap your hands...

>>CLAP CLAP<< So I bought my first DVD 3 days ago...I now have 7, and 5 more coming to me in the mail....A monster has been unleashed. So let's see who's got this habit the worst?? How many DVDs do you guys have now? If ya'll collect DVDs like you search for online deals I think we're all in a lot of trouble=) __________________ Hehe, I don't have a DVD player yet because I don't like their features/cost yet. I just play my DVDs off my machine and through crappy RCA cables to my living room. It's not THX, but still looks good with the old ATI AIW128 TV-out decoder. Err, sorry to go off topic. Anyways, yeah I was bitten by the bug about this time last year. Right now I have about 74 movies and have another 39 on order. Believe it or not, I got all these movies (74+39) for under $1k so far cuz I used coupons like a Mad Monk! I was worried initially because I know there's going to be a DVD2 standard and my DVDs will become outdated when HDTV comes to play, but I'll worry about that in 20 years when the slow industry finally switches. Man, if they can't get stuff like Gump and Star Wars to DVD, do you think they'll switch standards? Lucas is not really making anybody happy by making us wait for Star Wars. Damn, if we were really avid Star Wars fans we would buy each one now, and then the whole set in 5 years! ------------------ Ço£o§§ü§ - yeah you can read into it... __________________ I have approximately 30 DVDs and have spent less than $100 on my collection so far. __________________ i've had 2 dvd players over the last year, one was free and the other one was $100 below the usual in store price(thanks to apex) and i have one dvd at home. i rent them, why do i need to own every movie i want to see on dvd? i'd rather pay to rent them and save the precious little space i have left in my house for other stuff. between work, family, and my other hobbies i dont have the time to watch that many movies, i dont see how it's worth it to you guys to buy so many movies. __________________ You think that is bad, I have 10 dvd's but no player good thing I am getting one soon though, but ya I never spend over 5 bucks for a dvd usually.
