guess so =P i think ubb just put it in the hrefs so should not be problem __________________ hmmm.. how do you fix that topic thing?... i'm running into lots problems w/ topics that contain both "+"s and "-"s in ubb.5.45c... but this ubb doesnt seem to have a problem w/ such topic.. actually there are still some problems.. i couldnt post reply to my own topic back there.. i just see a blank page after i submit the reply post.. but it could be just my ie5.5 browswer.. cus i get a bunch of javascript runtime errors when i load the reply page... thats why i had to start this new topic.. errr... [This message has been edited by tachi (edited 08-04-2000).] __________________ it is mainly because u put a > in the topic line. that screws up some of the html the ubb suppose to -at least last time i tried- not allow u to make that topic because of bad topic. then agian it could be just some glitch heehee Try not to put special char in title then should have no prob [This message has been edited by CluelessSi (edited 08-04-2000).] __________________ w/o the ">" it will still give problems.. cus vars that are passed through the url use "+" for seperation.. notice ubb does handle that by coverting all the "+"s into "[PLS]"s if you look at the url.. but for some reason.. when "+" is used w/ "-" it seems to cause problems.. i initially thought it was just an unnoticed bug.. but it seems like the apex ubb can handle it okay... so i dunno...
