Money + Fear

Money. Some people barely can get enough to survive while others have it literally falling out of their pockets.

Fear. There is always the constant fear that one will not have enough money, that if they somehow by chance happen to lose all of it, they will lose their validity in the System and soon fall into the category of 'undesirable', public enemy number one.

They take but they don't give(very much)

Federal income tax is holding us back folks.

It started out as a millionaires tax, back when millionaires ruled the planet. It's steadly crept its way down ever since.

The enemy is US

We must to consider whether poverty is really a natural condition dictated by reality or is it created?

Much needed, but delayed, structural improvements for companies, funds for local daycare, money citizens could be using to pay lawyers to really make the world better.

Federal income tax[below $100,000] prohibits this.

what have they done with our money? Just the same response the brits did with our money back in 1775: oh you want value for your money, have some more Redcoats, muhahaha

Lets kick dem bastads out

Follow the bouncing politics. Jeez, renots, one day a bleeding heart, the next, a trickle-down Reaganomicist.
This is the first one I have to agree with, history be damned. I cannot think of a more inefficient corporate body than the US of A, and while monies certainly do need to be diverted to them for some services, the 33% or whatever is taken out of my paycheck every week is certainly not being utilized very efficiently from where I stand. Income tax is not really the one that bugs me the most; it's the nickel and dimers that the goverment tries to "hide" from us: gas taxes, hotel taxes, power taxes. All of these 4 dollar a month types of things add up to really suffocate a brother. And for what? I haven't noticed a profound effect from the monies collected. Maybe I'm being short sighted, but...then again, maybe I'm not.
At the end of the day, I certainly believe I am the best spender of my money. I don't need some patriarchical body telling me what I should spend my money on.

Actually, income tax in America started out a temporary tax to help fund a war.
